Topic: Winter Roses -we will be drawing the last roses of winter with graphite pencils.

Materials: set of graphite pencils (or a range of different ones including B, 2B, 4B, 6B and 8B), eraser, pencil sharpener, sketchbook 11 x 14″

Topic: Holly: we will be drawing holly leaves and berries with chalk pastels on black paper. We will also make a drawing of a festive holly wreath on black paper.

Materials: set of 12 CHALK pastels, black pastel paper such as Fabriano (cut into 1/4s) or a 11 x 14″ sketchbook with black paper. If you don’t have black paper, find some other paper that isn’t white (brown craft paper, corrugated cardboard, or any other NON GLOSSY paper); plastic or kneaded eraser and blending stump.

Topic: Clematis with pencil

Materials: set of graphite pencils (B, 2B, 4B, 6B, 9B) white plastic eraser, pencil sharpener, soft cloth, ruler and 11 x 14″ sketchbook.

You will receive a Dropbox link with images of clematis that we will use for this session along with the Zoom link on the Tuesday before the session.
