This session of Draw by Drawing will involve creating a “fantastical garden” using brush and ink and collage. You will get to use your imagination as you build a garden from collage shapes created from brushwork on paper.
Materials needed: 11 x 14″ sketchbook (or larger paper), black ink, bamboo brush (medium size), bowl-point drawing nib, plastic pen holder, white conte crayon (or white chalk pastel), glue stick and scissors. Also: paper towels, two or three containers with water (to make washes of different values).
