The focus of this week will be using a potted plant as subject matter and working with collage to develop a composition for a watercolour.
Materials needed: potted plant (or cut flowers however the potted plant works best), watercolour set, watercolour brush, watercolour pad, regular sketchbook or drawing paper, pencil, black pen, chalk pastels, scissors and glue stick.
Optional: old watercolour paintings, collage papers, wrapping papers, etc.
While the facilitator will give basic information about how to approach the project and use of the materials involved, these are not how-to-draw classes. There is not always time for individual feedback and one-on-one guidance in these 90 minute sessions, but we will do our best to accommodate people with questions.
