This session of Draw by Drawing will focus on the theme of astronomy. We will make one drawing inspired by the night stars and another by the planets.
Materials needed: 2 sheets black drawing paper (Fabriano, Canson, Strathmore are some brands); chalk pastels, white and black conte, white gouache (optional), watercolour paints, #10 watercolour brush, jar of water, soft rag, pencil, circular items to make circles of different sizes (lids, cups, etc).
While the facilitator will give basic information about how to approach the project and use of the materials involved, these are not how-to-draw classes. There is not always time for individual feedback and one-on-one guidance in these 90 minute sessions, but we will do our best to accommodate people with questions.
