Draw by Drawing March 29 and 31

In this Draw by Drawing session we will use the simple apple as a source for drawing. We will start by doing a simple pencil drawing of the apple as is and then we deconstruct the apple by peeling and cutting to create a range of more abstract shapes to draw. Materials needed: graphite pencils (B, 2B, 4B, 6B or any range close to this), eraser and sketchbook. Also: apple and paring knife and piece of paper to rest apple and parts on.

While the facilitator will give basic information about how to approach the project and use of the materials involved, these are not how-to-draw classes. There is not always time for individual feedback and one-on-one guidance in these 90 minute sessions, but we will do our best to accommodate people with questions.

These online sessions are done via Zoom so please download Zoom and log in 5-10 minutes before start time of session.
