We are pleased to announce the return of regular weekly sessions of Draw by Drawing starting Wednesday, Sept 29, 10-11:30. The sessions will be held on a weekly basis until December 8. And then they will continue again in January. There will be a one or two Monday evening “pop-up” sessions in October and November as well for those who can’t make the Wednesday morning ones. The first session of the semester will start with going back to the basics and drawing plants with line. The focus will be on observation and drawing a confident line (as a opposed to a “perfect” line). This week’s project is inspired by the beautiful line plant drawings of American abstract artist Ellsworth Kelly.
Materials: 2B pencil, eraser, 11 x 14″ sketchbook and potted plant or cut flowers.
